FACT CHECK:

The fact check team performed a reverse image search on the picture, and found that the viral pictures were morphed. The original picture shows Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan visiting a hospital in Dubai.

According to a report by The Peninsula Qatar, in May 2017, Khan paid a surprise visit to Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital – UAE’s first paediatric hospital. He was in Dubai shooting a sequel to his #BeMyGuest campaign film for Dubai Tourism. Khan toured the hospital and spent some time meeting some of the inpatients and enquired about the children’s well-being.

The viral picture had been morphed to add Dhoni and Pant's picture.

The picture was also posted on the official Facebook page of the Government of Dubai Media Office. A press release by the Government of Dubai clearly mentions that Khan visited the Al Jalila Children’s Specialty Hospital on May 7, 2017 in keeping with the spirit of the UAE’s Year of Giving.

It should be noted that Pant's picture is from the accident and has also been used in several news articles. It was simply edited into the picture with Khan.

Moreover, there has been no credible news reports on Dhoni meeting Pant in the hospital.

Evidently, the viral picture has been edited to falsely claim Dhoni meeting Pant in the hospital.
