The claim is False. The video in circulation is an AI generated one.
When we observed the video carefully, we could see the watermark HooHooCreations80 on the video in circulation. When checked on the Instagram account, we found that the viral video was shared on August 23, 2025 with the caption ‘Ganesh Chaturthi Special’. The movements of the people in the video does not look real. When we checked other videos published on the account and also the bio, we found many other AI-generated videos shared on the account.
An NDTV article discusses another video created by HooHoocreations80, which features popular Indian dishes as clothes and accessories. This video was also shared on the same Instagram account.
We also searched the youtube channel of HooHooCreations80, where the bio states that it is the home of unique AI-powered entertainment. The channel claims to create fun and entertaining AI videos designed to make you smile, laugh and feel happy.
We found several other videos generated using AI published on the youtube page.
