Fact Check:

The claim is False. Kajal Agarwal is alive, and the rumours are baseless.

When we extracted keyframes from the viral video and conducted reverse image searches, we found that the visuals showing Telugu actors were old clips from unrelated funerals. The clip showing Junior NTR and Kalyan Ram was from a tribute they paid to legendary actor N.T. Rama Rao on his 101st birth anniversary.

The visual of Ram Charan stepping out of a car was from a video where he attended his grandmother’s funeral.

The video of Balakrishna crying was from the funeral of his sister-in-law, Nandamuri Padmaja. A Hindustan Times report confirmed that Padmaja, wife of NTR and Basava Rama Tarakam’s second son Nandamuri Jayakrishna, passed away at the age of 73 in Hyderabad on 19 August. Balakrishna appeared emotional while meeting those who came to pay their respects.

Meanwhile, Kajal Agarwal has been active on her social media accounts, sharing recent posts that prove she is safe and healthy. On her Facebook page, she uploaded pictures from a vacation in the Maldives.

On Twitter/X, Kajal directly addressed the false claims. She wrote “I’ve come across some baseless news claiming I was in an accident (and no longer around!) and honestly, it’s quite amusing because it’s absolutely untrue. By the grace of God, I want to assure you all that I am perfectly fine, safe, and doing very well. I kindly request you not to believe or circulate such false news. Let’s focus our energies on positivity and truth instead. With love and gratitude, Kajal.”

Hence, the viral claim that Kajal Agarwal died in a car accident is false. The video circulating on social media was made using old clips of Tollywood actors attending unrelated funerals. Kajal Agarwal herself has confirmed through social media that she is alive, safe, and well.
