Fact Check:

The claim is false.

According to the official website of the Guinness World Records, the heaviest baby ever born weighed 9.98 kg (22 lb) and was born to a Canadian woman named Giantess Anna Bates in 1879. The boy died 11 hours after his birth.

A reverse image search of the photo led to news articles from 2009 reporting the birth of an 8.7 kg baby in Indonesia, but the photo in those articles does not match the one in the viral post.

Based on these findings, it can be said that the viral photo does not depict the heaviest baby ever born in the world and that the claim made in the post is false.
