Fact Check: Old iBomma Warning to Tollywood Resurfaces as Threat to Hyderabad Police

Do heroes need that much remuneration? Whether it's your son or anyone else. We don't want any other hero (example: Vijay) to be targeted in this middle. Don't talk about what they will become.. The amount you give them will not be enough for them to do the work, but will it be enough for your hero or heroine. A large percentage of the film budget is spent on remunerations and shootings abroad and trips. How much is spent on production boys to light boys? If you shoot in India, the budget will be reduced. Right? The claim is False. iBomma did not release any such statement recently. Two year old iBomma statement warning the Telugu Film Industry is going viral as recent warning to the police officials.

When we searched the image using reverse image search, we found a few social media posts that were shared in September 2023 stating that the iBomma website has issued a warning to Telugu Film Industry.

An article published on ABP telugu on September 8, 2023 states that The 'iBomma' website, which pirates OTT content, is now issuing a warning to the film industry as a whole. It has released an open letter saying that if you focus on us, we will focus where we want to.

As we searched on ibomma website and also their social media handles, we could not find any such statement issued by them recently. We also could not verify that this open letter was issued by iBomma two years ago. But the viral image showing the statement is two year old one, not recent.

Therefore, a two year old open statement available on the internet, is shared by social media users and also some mainstream media outlets with the claim that piracy OTT website iBomma has issued a warning to the police officials.
