This claim was viral in 2019 claiming that it was from the Middle east.

Fact Check:

The claim that the video is from Dubai is False. The video is from an event at Prashanti Nilayam, an ashram in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.

When we extracted the key frames from the video and searched them using Google reverse image search, we found that this video was debunked by ABP news in February 2018.

According to the report, the video is from an event in the ashram of Sathya Sai Baba in Puttaparthi, Andhra Pradesh.

We also found the original video published on July 17, 2012, by the YouTube channel Sri Sathya Sai Official with the title ‘Sarva Dharma Swaroopa Sai – Arabian Choir – 10 July 2012’. The description of the video states “A "Prashanthi" pilgrimage by the Region 94 of the Sai Organisation comprising the countries from the Middle East and Gulf has enveloped Prasanthi Nilayam with Islamic Fervor. Devotees from Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates, provided an Arabic flavour in Prasanthi Nilayam”

According to a report published in colombotelegraph.com, the video was accompanied with the following description: A “Prashanthi” pilgrimage by the Region 94 of the Sai Organisation comprising countries from the Middle East and Gulf has enveloped Prasanthi Nilayam with Islamic Fervor. Devotees from Bahrain, Iran, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Turkey, and the United Arab Emirates, provided an Arabic flavor in Prasanthi Nilayam.

The concert entitled ‘Sarva Dharma Swaroopa Sai‘ exalted the five cardinal human values of which Bhagwan Sri Sathya Sai Baba was an embodiment – Sathya (Truth), Dharma (Righteousness), Shanti (Peace), Prema (Love), and Ahimsa (Non-Violence).

The programme consisted of 6 Arabic songs followed by bhajans. All the participants were blessed with clothes. A special prasadam consisting of dry fruits and nuts along with a photograph of the sanctum sanctorum and a quotation of Baba was distributed to the assembly. The group has been blessed with the opportunity to participate in Bhajan singing in Sai Kulwant Hall since July 7, 2012.

Therefore, the video is not from Dubai and the claim is false.
