With elections approaching fast, the political scene in Andhra Pradesh is heating up and the parties are complaining against each other’s acts. Recently, vehicles from the convoy of the opposition party politician Nara Lokesh were searched by police officials after the Model Code of Conduct came into force following the announcement of the election schedule.

A few mainstream media outlets and also social media accounts shared a few images and videos of media reports claiming that a suspicious container entered the CM camp office in Andhra Pradesh. The security personnel did not search the container nor did they stop it. Many users speculated that the container may have supplied money or drugs to the CM camp office.

The claim in Telugu goes “*Most Suspicious News* *అనుమాస్పదంగా నిన్న సీఎం జగన్మోహన్ రెడ్డి క్యాంపు కార్యాలయానికి కంటెయినర్ వాహనం* *వెళ్లాల్సిన మార్గంలో కాకుండా వ్యతిరేక మార్గంలో లోపలికి, బయటకు వాహనం* *భద్రతా సిబ్బంది వద్ద నమోదు కాని కంటెయినర్ వాహనం వివరాలు* *గంట తర్వాత వచ్చినదారిలోనే వేగంగా బయటకు వెళ్లిన కంటెయినర్* *కంటెయినర్ ఎందుకు వచ్చింది..

When translated, it claims: “Most Suspicious News. A container vehicle at CM Jaganmohan Reddy's camp office. The vehicle entered the premises in the wrong direction than the designated route and also went out. Details of the vehicle not registered with the security staff. After an hour, the container vehicle passes away in the same route as it entered. Why did the container vehicle come to the CM camp office? Many suspicions over the vehicle as the security staff did not stop the vehicle. The vehicle with registration number AP 16Z 0363 which entered the CM camp office had a ‘POLICE’ sticker on it. Police had already checked TD leader Nara Lokesh’s vehicles four times. Leaving AP 16Z 0363 vehicle unchecked leads to several doubts.”
