Fact Check:

The claim is a Scam. The offer is shared by the pages which have very low likes and they are using survey scams to attract people to share their content.

When observed the comments on the posts, we saw when a user commented 'done', the page admin encouraged them to share the post in 8 active groups. After that, they will contact the person to confirm the gift. There is no public information on what happened after that.

Both the pages that shared the viral posts have been created a few days ago and they have only one post shared.

They did not have any valid contact information, whereas the authentic Facebook page ofPepsico did not share any such viral posts.

We did not find any such offers on the official website of PepsiCo as well.

According to information shared by PepsiCo, In 1898, small-town pharmacist Caleb D. Bradham looked for a name that would better describe his formula -- which he was selling under the name "Brad's Drink." He bought the name "Pep Kola" from a local competitor and changed it to Pepsi-Cola.

Pepsi got its name in 1898, so in 2022 it is NOT Pepsi's 119th birthday or anniversary.

None of the brand websites talk about the viral offer.

Therefore, the viral claim is an attempt to scam people into believing and sharing its content. These might lead to activities such as sharing of sensitive data or downloading malware that affects our devices. So be aware of such posts and do not share them further. The claim is FALSE and is a SCAM.
