After four days of intense military actions, India and Pakistan agreed to halt all military actions on land, air, and sea, with effect from 5 p.m on May 10, 2025. Hours later, cross-border firing from Pakistan was reported at several locations in Jammu and Kashmir, including Srinagar, and parts of Gujarat. "Pakistan is violating ceasefire understanding," said Foreign Secretary Misri at special MEA briefing. Every future escalation will invite a decisive response, says Misri. There was no ceasefire violation reported from any sector along the Line of Control in Kashmir after 11 p.m. on May 10, 2025” officials said.

Meanwhile, a video claiming infighting in India is viral on social media. A video of many people gathered on a farm, claiming Sikhs in India have turned against the Indian Army in Amritsar, is shared widely.

Lathi charge on villagers protesting against toxic bio gas plant.. Protest shed also collapsed.. The peaceful protest was going on for a year. Government and police administration are determined to start a toxic gas factory.

On further search we found a video posted by Rozana Spokesman on YouTube on April 27, 2025. The video titled Jagraon Villagers Police Clash: Lathi charge, "We will not allow biogas plant to be set up", used the viral video in the report

We ran keyword search with the available information. The Times of India report on April 26, 2025 on the same event says that the police resorted to lathi-charging protestors opposing the setting up of a biogas plant in Akhara, Ludhiana. Villagers had reportedly been protesting it for over a year, citing health concerns. Villagers have been protesting for over a year, citing health concerns regarding the plant, report says. 

Hence, the viral video claiming Sikhs of India have turned against the Indian Army is false.
