Fact Check: Jr NTR did not wear shirt showing TDP symbol, the image is morphed

TDP allied with the BJP and Janasena party to compete in the elections while the YSRC party is competing against them.
An image of Tollywood actor Jr. NTR wearing a shirt with the party symbol of the TDP, cycle, is in circulation on social media claiming that the actor is endorsing the party for the upcoming assembly elections.
Some users are sharing two images of him, one sporting TDP symbol and the other showing YSRC party symbol, a fan.
Fact check:
The claim is False. The image of Jr NTR has been morphed. The original image of the shirt does not have any party symbols on it.
When we performed a reverse image search using Google, we found that the image was shared by several news articles on April 21, 2024.
Times of India article shared the image stating that the image was clicked by paparazzi at the Mumbai airport when he landed there for War-2 shoot with Hrithik Roshan. The actor paired a white shirt with denim jeans, black sunglasses, and black sneakers.
The same images were shared by News 18 also. News agency ANI shared a video of Jr NTR landing at the Mumbai airport with him seen in the same attire with the title “Jr NTR flaunts trendy ensemble at Mumbai airport”.
No party symbol could be found on his shirt in these original images. Therefore, the viral images are edited, adding the party symbol of TDP to it. The claim is False. Jr NTR is not wearing a shirt with a TDP symbol on it.
