Fact Check:
The Government issues press notes on various topics and issues regularly, but through the Information and Public Relations Department, i.e, Samachara Poura Sambhandhala Sakha. In fact, there is no such department as Samachara Sanketika Prasarala Sakha in the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Also, the I&PR Department follows a format for press notes and issues in a document form through the official handles in the social media and to the email lists of the press, but not like in the image format and by unauthorised accounts.
However, the government also responded and the I&PR commissioner Thumma Vijay Kumar Reddy said to be responded over the spreading of information that the welfare schemes are cancelled for 2022. Sakshi TV tweeted the response from the commissioner that the government didn't issue any press note and the information about cancelling the welfare schemes is FALSE. He also warned that action will be initiated against the people responsible for the false propaganda.
Also, the Government of Andhra Pradesh's official Fact Check wing also tweeted that they identified a few accounts that started circulating the fake message as part of the malicious campaign, and action will be initiated against them.
So, the viral message on cancelling the welfare schemes Amma Vodi and Vahana Mitra is FALSE and the government clarifies that it is going to take action against the people spreading the false message with ill intentions.
