After the completion of two-day national executive meeting of the BJP party that was held in Hyderabad, a video of few people distributing alcohol among themselves is being shared virally on the social media. The persons in the video are seen wearing BJP party scarves and caps.
The meeting attracted a lot of traction as it was attended by several eminent leaders of the party including PM Modi. PM Modi addressed the public where several thousands attended the meeting. The caption in Hindi, shared with the video goes as "वाह मोगली जी, आपकी पार्टी ने तो तेलंगाना को भी गोवा बना दिया! क्या ऐश है...!!" when translated claims "Wow Mowgli ji, your party has turned Telangana into Goa too! What's up...!!"
The claim was also shared by Public Interest Lawyer and Activist Prashant Bhushan.

The claim that the video was shot during the BJP meeting in Hyderabad is FALSE. An old video from 2021 is being shared as recent.
The keyframes extracted from the video were searched using Google Reverse image search, which gave rise to several results. We found a youtube video published in December 2021 by Ten News, with the title 'BJP served Alcohol to attract crowds to JP Nadda's rally in Haridwar, alleges Youth Congress'.
We also found an article published in Dainik Bhaskar, showing the same video stating that UP Congress shared the video and gave the caption- 'BJP's condition is bad, liquor is being distributed to mobilize the crowd'. This video is being told before a program of BJP leader JP Nadda in Haridwar, Uttarakhand.
