In the photo, the two can be seen dressed in traditional wedding attire with garlands around their neck. Several users on Facebook and X (formerly known as Twitter) claimed that the duo got married secretly.

The picture was clicked during the launch of Sai Pallavi’s upcoming film SK21 starring Sivakarthikeyan as well. The picture was taken during the pooja of Rajkumar and Sivakarthikeyan's film, tentatively titled 'SK 21'. The full photo shows Rajkumar holding a clapperboard.
On May 9, director Rajkumar shared a few pictures from the puja ceremony to wish Sai Pallavi on her birthday. He wrote, "Happy birthday dear @Sai_Pallavi92 You are the best and May God bless you with everything that’s best as always! I feel blessed to have you too by my side in this! Thank you for being there! (sic)."
The viral picture was cropped strategically to make people believe that Rajkumar Periyasamy and Sai Pallavi were indeed married.
Therefore, the claim that actress Sai Pallavi and director Rajkumar Periyasamy are married is False.
