Upon performing a reverse image search using key frames from the video, we found similar videos on YouTube showing the same people marching and chanting Hare Krishna. The videos are titled “London Rathayatra 2023”.

The viral video was taken during the Rathayatra festival held this year on July 30 in London.

“Rathayatra” meaning “chariot festival” is the biggest street festival sponsored by ISKCON. It is celebrated by devotees of Lord Krishna all over the world and was introduced to the West in 1967 in San Francisco. The Rathayatra festivals are held at several different places across the country, (which country) the biggest in London. The London procession starts from Hyde Park Corner and finally arrives at Trafalgar Square, where festivities continue till night.


Evidently, the video taken during the Rathayatra held in London has been falsely shared to claim that over "7 lakh Christians in America have joined Hinduism”.
