In the video, the young man, surrounded by some people, asks them to hold their hands up and suddenly the man starts flying in the air without any support. The video is shared with the claim that the young man seen in the video is from Tamil Nadu and is flying due to the power of yoga. It also claims that scientists are also puzzled by this phenomenon. This is a challenge to all those who call Ramayan and Hanuman imaginary.

The claim is false. The man seen in the video is a magician and an illusionist.
When we searched the key frames extracted from the video using Google reverse image search along with the keywords “flying boy from Tamil Nadu”, we found a video published by YouTube channel ‘Behindwoodsairnews’ with the title “160 feet flying man’s magic trick revealed I Magician Vignesh reveals” and the video was published in August 2018. The viral video is also a part of this video.
When we searched for magician Vignesh, we found his website, where we could find his complete bio. He is a magician who was awarded Mayajal Ratna Award. He does several events under the title ‘The Illusion show’.
We also found his YouTube channel where magic tricks performed by him can be seen. This video was also published in 2018.
When we searched further, we found another video published by a YouTube channel named Magic Secrets revealed, where a masked magician levitates on a three-story building. He reveals the secret of levitating which is using crane-like structures and editing software.
Therefore, the levitation trick is an illusion but not the power of yoga. The claim is false.
