TDP blames CM vendetta for Nayarana arrest

AMARAVATI: TDP MLC Paruchuri Ashok Babu on Tuesday asserted that the latest arrest of ex Minister P. Narayana once again exposed Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy's growing fears of the opposition.

Ashok Babu said that the Chief Minister was in a state of frustration over the rising anti-Government sentiment against his three years rule.
Addressing a press conference here, the TDP MLC reiterated that Jagan Reddy got Narayana arrested out of his political vendetta campaign. The ex Minister was implicated in a false case only for the Chief Minister's personal joy and happiness.
Ashok Babu said that the ruling YSRCP leaders were in growing fear of the rising unpopularity of their regime with each passing day. The Chief Minister was trying all ulterior methods to hide his inefficiency and corruption from the public. The present arrest of Narayana was also part of this shameful game.
The TDP MLC asked how Narayana could be arrested when he was just the head of the institution while the offence was committed by somebody else. It should be Education Minister Botsa Satyanarayana who should be arrested first for making confusing statements on the 10th class paper leakage.
Condemning the latest arrest, Ashok Babu said the YCP Government was harassing and victimising the Narayana educational institutions ever since it came to power. Even the Chief Minister and Education Minister had no clarity on the paper leak. Botsa had once said there was no paper leakage in the 10th exams. How could Narayana be arrested now?
The TDP MLC asserted that everybody knew that Ponguru Narayana was arrested on baseless and politically motivated charges. If Narayana was arrested for an offence committed by somebody in his educational institutions, would the Minister take responsibility for corruption resorted to by the Government employees?
Ashok Babu decried the manner in which Narayana was arrested when he along with his family members was busy observing his son's death anniversary. This was enough to say to what extent this Chief Minister was stooping to in his political vengeance activities. For the past three years, the TDP leaders were being harassed but that would not prevent them from agitating against the YSRCP misdeeds and atrocities.
