Drones, including the armed ones, were sighted at 26 locations in India, ranging from Jammu and Kashmir to Gujarat, along both the International Border and the Line of Control with Pakistan, the Indian Army said on 9th may.
As per published news, This is the latest provocation from Pakistan after it fired 300-400 drones a day before, which were neutralised by the Army. The locations include Baramulla, Srinagar, Avantipora, Nagrota, Jammu, Ferozepur, Pathankot, Fazilka, Lalgarh Jatta, Jaisalmer, Barmer, Bhuj, Kuarbet and Lakhi Nala, said the Army. An armed drone targeted a civilian area in Ferozepur, resulting in severe injuries to members of a local family, the Army said further.
"We received information about 3 people being injured. They have burn injuries. Doctors will treat them. Most of the drones have been neutralised by the army," Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ferozepur, Bhupinder Singh Sidhu said.

Fact Check:
The claim is false, the viral video is actually from Dhaka and dates back to February 2025.
When we investigated the claim, we found no evidence of it being reported by any major media outlet. If such a massive attack had actually come from Pakistan and the video were genuine, it is likely that major news networks would have covered it.
During the reverse image search, we found an Instagram video that was uploaded in February 2025.
It contained some text in Bangla : রাজধানীর খিলগাঁওয়ে ভয়াবহ আগুন, একের পর এক সিলিন্ডার বিস্ফোরণ!
When we translate it to English and it reads, Terrible fire in Khilgaon, Dhaka — gas cylinders explode one after another!
As the visuals appeared quite similar to the viral video, we compared both and found that they were from the same incident.
This proves that the viral video has been available on the internet since February 2025 — well before the current India-Pakistan situation.
We also found that the fact-checking organization of the Government of India, PIB Fact Check, had shared the same visual. However, a fake stamp was found on the video. The video was shared with the text: "An old video is circulating on social media, claiming a Pakistani attack on Jammu. This video is actually from Dhaka, dated February 2025.
Hence, we found the claim to be false. The viral video claiming a Pakistani attack on Jammu is actually from Dhaka, dated February 2025, and has no relation to the current India-Pakistan situation.
