The viral video being circulated does not show visuals of the aftermath of Operation Sindoor. The footage is from Gaza and is unrelated to the recent events in Pakistan or Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

The claim is false. The video is from Gaza under Israel's attack
India launched Operation Sindoor, striking nine sites in Pakistan and Pakistan - occupied Kashmir fifteen days after Pahalgam terror attack. Pakistan confirmed that 26 people have been killed and 46 injured in Indian air strikes and firing along the Line of Control, reports BBC. Indian army said at least 10 civilians were killed by Pakistani shelling. At a press briefing in New Delhi, Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri, along with Colonel Sophia Qureshi and Wing Commander Vyomika Singh, said the operation was a "measured and proportionate" response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam.
Meanwhile, social media platforms are flooded with several old and unrelated videos and claims. A video showing people including children screaming and running in a destroyed building is shared as one from Pakistan. Viral video is being shared by the caption 'He has entered your house and killed you, he has dug your grave, the father sitting on the throne of Delhi is your Modi'

Fact Check:
The claim made in the viral post was found to be misleading.
We began our investigation by extracting the keyframes of the viral video and ran them through Google Reverse image search tool. We found several videos matching the viral content.
Similar content was posted by an Instagram user (syedhussain9611) on April 11, 2025 with the caption, "God, help Palestine".
The viral video has a watermark saying 'Nour Alzaharna', indicating the user name that has posted the video initially. A search on Instagram with available information took us to the Instagram user (Nour Alzaharna). The bio of the account says he is from Gaza.
On further search, we found the exact video on the account. The video posted on April 4, 2025 with caption, "Please be with us, we are dying every second. We need your support" has five million views in total.
Though we could not find any other reports published by any mainstream media, we could confirm that it is not related to Operation Sindoor. Therefore, the viral videos in circulation on social media as after effect of India's response to the Pahalgam terror attack are false. The visuals are from Gaza.
