Video shows a Learjet crash that occurred in Philadelphia, USA in February 2025
After India’s attack on the Terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan occupied Kashmir killing more than 90 people, Pakistan launched drone and missile attacks at various locations along the western borders with India in the night of May 8, 2025. But the Indian armed forces swiftly intercepted them and destroyed them in the air itself. India’s shield of sensors, missiles and jammers were in action protecting the citizens in several places like Jammu, Amritsar, Pochran, Jaisalmer etc. According to ADG PI - Indian army, Pakistan armed Forces launched multiple attacks using drones and other munitions, which were effectively repulsed and befitting reply was given to the cease fire violations.
Meanwhile, a video showing wreckage spread all over the road is in circulation with the claim that it shows the destruction caused due to Indian attack on Karachi, Pakistan. The video is in circulation with Captions like “Pakistan ka haal dekho”.

The claim is False. The video is not related to India or Pakistan. It shows crash of a Learjet in Philadelphia, USA.
When we extracted keyframes from the viral video, we found a longer version of the video published on a youtube channel named Hakan Tuluhan on February 1, 2025 with the title “Update on the Plane That Crashed in Philadelphia!What is Going on? #philadelphia #planecrash #shorts
An Instagram user also shared the longer version of the video with the caption “WATCH W/ DISCRETION: A Learjet crashed in Philadelphia this evening, striking multiple homes. The aircraft was a medical flight carrying several people including a patient, a doctor, and the patient’s family member. Additional casualties are reported on the ground. Upon further search about the incident, we found news articles stating that a small medical plane carrying six people crashed near a shopping center in northeast Philadelphia on Friday night, apparently leaving no survivors. The tragic incident, involving a Learjet 55 operated by Jet Rescue Air Ambulance, occurred on January 31, 2025, shortly after takeoff from Northeast Philadelphia Airport. This catastrophic event resulted in the deaths of all six people on board and caused significant damage on the ground.
Therefore, the viral video does not show the destruction caused by attack made by Indian armed forces on Karachi, it shows crash of a Learjet that occurred in Philadelphia, USA. The claim is False.
