The claim in Telugu reads: “మళ్లీ పుట్టినాడు శోభన్ బాబు.”, which claims that Shobhan Babu is born again.
A few users shared it with the claim: “మోడ్రన్ శోభన్ బాబు గారు”, ‘Modern Shobhan babu’,
Fact Check:
The claim is False. The video is an AI generated image created using a mobile photo enhancer application.
When we searched the extracted keyframes using Google reverse image search, we found a video shared by a YouTube channel named skillsmotive showing a man with the same background from 0.50 seconds to 0.58 seconds. However, the person seen in the video is not Tollywood actor Shobhan Babu.
Similar short was shared by several other YouTube users, but with swapped face.
A YouTube user shared similar short with a swapped face, with the title ‘Created with Photo Lab app #photolab on December 26, 2023.’ The short video has the watermark of photolab.me with #photolab.
When we searched more about photolab.me, we found that it is a mobile app which allows you to edit photos with face filters for pictures, stylish photo effects and lots of pic art ideas.
